“ Definitely a pleasant experience... Ok, Let's get to it. The hostess was very friendly and we were seated with no wait (arrived on time for a 530 reservation) . Our waitress/server was great and knows the menu well and never left us waiting for a refill. Time to talk about the food! Appetizer Bruschetta w/ chive goat cheese, olive tapenade ,and angelica della korte. Very delicious and at the top of our list we've had! The Olive tapenade was AMAZING! Caprese Salad - Very fresh and well put together. The balsamic reduction was spot on and not overpowering. The mozzarella wasn't the best. It could have been more dense. The texture seemed a little off. Entree Chicken Marsala , the sauce is unlike any I've tried, mixture of sweet and savory. Almost like it had a hint of maple. Very delicious. The buttered fettuccine was dry but cooked well, but not my favorite and was expecting more of a homemade type. The brussel sprouts were could, again nothing to get excited over and could have been crisped more. Overall it was an OK dish, the chicken was moist and sauce was TASTY. Scampi Diavolo - I cannot speak for the dish as a whole, I only sampled a bite of prawn, with that said the prawn was undercooked. The flavors were there and the overall taste was good, just need a little longer in the saute. There was ample sauce and was not dry like the chicken marsala fettuccine. Dessert Lemon Tart - DELICIOUS, I can't remember what the topping was to save my life, BUT if you like Lemon Tart, I challenge you to find a better one! Chocolate Mousse - Very good, and of course full of chocolate! Very rich and yummy. The cookie straw was perfect, next I'll request extra! Personally I'd like to see the dished dressed or garnished with crushed oreo to give it a little more base. The the chocolate fudge base was a bit much for me but then again I rarely eat chocolate. Lastly, if you like a good red, try the Winter Wine Flight! You won't be disappointed! Overall - It was a great experience and we'll be back to try other dishes! Don't forget to like and follow! “ We ordered the Bruschetta Sampler, Poached Pear Salad, Sicilian Lamb Meatballs, Salmon Piccata, the Traditional Tiramisu, and some drinks. The food and drinks were delicious and it was a perfect date night location. The lamb meatballs were incredibly flavorful, and the peaches pear salad was amazing. The server was friendly and there was a great ambiance. ”

“ I've been here a few times now and I've been impressed each time. Most recently I attended one of the Monthly Club W, wine and food pairing for women. It was so fun, I had delicious dishes and the wines were amazing. Each was carefully curated to be 100% perfect. I will be going there anytime family comes to visit. ”

“ Excellent service; they were super nice to us when we managed to be like forty-five minutes late for our reservation (I did call of course!), and ordering was quick and smooth. The olive tasting array was a lot of fun but became less so as we reached the bottom of the bowl because the excess of oil made it difficult to actually taste the olives instead of tasting the oil, which was a little unfortunate, but such a cool idea! Since we were in more of a hurry than anticipated we just split that and a margherita pizza (which was excellent) and fled to catch our musical, but not before I got a chance to try an apricot cocktail (bright and summery, lovely). Ended up being quite inexpensive - really nice light dinner experience! ”

“ Lombardi's in Bellingham is the perfect place to go to relax, enjoy good food, and ambiance. They have the best calamari out there (I don't like it anywhere else). Tiramisu is the perfect way to end a meal - perfectly moist and creamy. My go to meal here is their lasagna because they add an Alfredo sauce on top to finish it off. It's different and I like it. This time I added a sweet apple cinnamon drink to my meal and enjoyed that with their seasonal pear salad. My partner got the pork shank and the staff was right - it was fall-off-the-bone tender. The risotto and brussel sprouts it was served with were a nice balance of creamy and crunchy. This is a nice place to dine for groups too since they have a party room. ”

“ This is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Bellingham, Washington and also in my opinion, a top rated Italian restaurant in Western Washington. The location is absolutely spectacular right by the marina with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating in a very clean and well kept dining facility. The menu is your typical Italian fair, and I have tried many of their dishes, and they all are exceptional. Focaccia bread with olive oil and garlic is a great beginning to an even better dining experience. Once your food arrives, the service is excellent and it is clear that they place high standards on their employees to provide a wonderful dining experience to their customers. I would highly recommend going to Lombardi for a great dining experience. ”
